About Michael McTernan
Born in Hitchin, I went to school in Sheffield, then to Bristol University to study
Computer Science for four years. I graduated in 2001 with a first
and am now living in Finsbury Park, working for a 5 person startup based in the South East of England.

Here are some projects of varying size that I am or have been involved with:
- RipRight - CD Ripper in the style of autorip.
- Aifffffs - FUSE filesystem that transcodes FLAC to AIFF while preserving tags.
- Mscgen - A message sequence chart renderer that can integrate with doxygen.
- Ledmail - An email indicator that uses the keyboard LEDs.
- Qgallery - A quick and simple image thumbnail and gallery creator.
- Telephonectld - A daemon that allows scripted remote control of a computer via DTMF tones.
- Webctl - A tiny webserver that needs no filesystem. Written for the Coyote linux on a floppy disk project.
- MySqlErd - Entity Relation Diagram generator for MySQL databases.
- Mike's Code Snippets - Various neat code snippets that are suitable for re-use.
- Boggle - Java implementation of the Parker Brothers' popular word game.
- Virtual Ant Farm - A virtual ant farm that lives in your browser.
- My Homepage - A little cgi script that produces my homepage.
